Armada Metals Ltd. completed its acquisition
of Midwest Lithium Ltd. in an all-share
transaction valued at $2.3 million. Both
companies are Australian-held juniors.
Midwest holds various hard rock lithium
projects in the USA, including the
right to acquire a 100% interest in 1,098
unpatented lode mining claims covering
approximately 93 km2 in the Black Hills of
South Dakota, USA.
Several companies actively exploring
in the Black Hills region, including Iris Metals,
Patriot Lithium and United Lithium.
Midwest was, a first mover in the region.
Following completion of the transaction,
Armada’s board comprises Rick
Anthon, non-executive chairman, Martin Holland, managing director and CEO
and Michael Schlumpberger, executive
director and COO.
Originally established to define new
belt-scale discoveries in under-explored
regions of Africa, Armada now plans to
change its name to Rapid Lithium Ltd.
