Ghana Grants Permit for Ewoyaa Lithium Project
The MOP was the final regulatory approval required for the company to move forward with construction of the Ewoyaa mine and processing plant, and it represents an important milestone toward reaching a final investment decision.
“With our sights set on achieving first production of lithium in Ghana, we now eagerly await parliamentary ratification of the Ewoyaa mining lease,” said Neil Herbert, executive chair for Atlantic Lithium. “We hope that ratification can occur in the coming sitting, expected to resume on October 15, which would set us on the path towards construction and operation of this globally significant lithium project.”
