Generator Uses Mobile
Hydraulic Power
Dynaset’s model HG hydraulic generator
transforms hydraulic power available on
mobile machinery into electricity. The HG
generator can be used at worksites to provide
power for electric tools, lights, welding,
pumps, angle grinders, concrete mixers
and other equipment. In addition to
33 standard models rated at 1 to 70 kVA,
Dynaset manufactures special hydraulic
generators in the range of 70 to 350 kVA
and can provide IP54-rated enclosure
protection. Customers can select a frequency
of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. According to
the company, the unit’s smooth operation
and automatic frequency control produces
steady, high-quality power. The generator
is claimed to be safe to install on all
hydraulic systems, with size and weight
measurements that are half that of typical
combustion engine generators. Because
the unit doesn’t require a dedicated fuel
tank or a heat-generating exhaust pipe, it
is easy to install in confined spaces.
