Metso said its new instrumentation panel
makes control of automated process valves
using pneumatic actuators simpler by providing
a compact solution to enable users to
achieve their objectives of efficiency and reliability
when building up instrumentation
functionalities, lowering the overall cost of
ownership. A compact, modular design enables
the panel to centralize all instrumentation
components on one panel plate. This
allows simple installation and easy maintenance
access to all components from a single
side. The panel, said Metso, provides end
users with significant benefits: all selected
panel components are widely used and wellrecognized
brands in the market, so the reliability
of the valve assembly increases while
spare parts inventory and the number of
instrumentation components decreases.
The component layout on the panel is
standardized, which gives a homogenous
look and layout. Components are selected
to meet the most stringent requirements
and a wide temperature range, making it
possible for use in any process plant.
