Track-mounted Belt Loader Handles 30-ton Haulers
Samson Materials Handling, a business unit of the Aumund Group,
said its new BF40415T loader is a tracked version of its wheelmounted Stormajor loader that offers high performance, reliability
and maneuverability. It delivers a cost-effective solution for stockpiling, barge loading, ship loading and railcar loading, handling
material densities of up to 1.6 t/m3and at a capacity of up to 625
m3
/h, and is particularly suited for use at unimproved sites or where
loader mobility is crucial. Key features include a folding 15-m boom,
which allows it to be deployed and operational within minutes of
being delivered to site. It also offers higher efficiency with fewer
moves and a maximum stockpile value of 3,130 m3
, and is easily
operated through its remote control umbilical or optional radio control module. The track-mounted BF0415T has been designed for
use with ADTs up to 30-ton capacity, trucks hauling 30-ton trailers
and wheel loaders with bucket capacity up to 8 m
3. The BF0415T
can also be supplied with an interchangeable 20-m boom.
