Portable Screening Plant Offers Mobility, Versatility
Deister Machine Co. unveiled a portable, heavy-duty horizontal screening plant with feed conveyor as the latest addition to its new line of premium portable screening plants. Available in 6 x 20-ft (1.8 x 6.1-m) and 8 x 20-ft (2.4 x 6.1-m) models and offered in a number of custom configurations, the new plant is described by Deister as highly mobile and versatile, well suited for in-pit portability The plant incorporates numerous features that include an optional 42-in. (1.06-m) screen feed conveyor (48-in. [1.22-m] on the 8-ft-wide unit); walking beam tandem-axle suspension; access ladders and walkways on both sides and front of the screen with hydraulic folding on one side; centralized grease points; chutes and hoppers lined or made from AR 400 plate; a 60-in. (1.52-m) undersize conveyor below the 6 x 20-ft screen (or an 84-in. [2.13-m] undersize conveyor on the 8 x 20-ft screen); 30-in. (762-mm) motorized head pulley cross conveyors (or 36-in. [914-mm] on the 8 x 20-ft screen); and self-cleaning, wing-type tail pulleys. Additional optional features include a receiving hopper for crusher return; an optional four-leg hydraulic leveling package with 12VDC power pack and filtration; optional hydraulic cylinders to fold conveyor and additional cylinders to adjust discharge height; optional six or eight hydraulic leveling/Run-On cylinders powered by a Honda engine; and optional spring loaded belt scrapers.
