MGR Industries’ ET41150 sealed industrial terminal with 10.4-in.
touch screen is designed for use in harsh environments. The ET41150 is claimed
to be impervious to dust, airborne particulates and liquids; its face is sealed
to IP65. The touch screen can be used with or without a glove and offers the latest
in projective through-glass touch screen technology. The ET41150 was designed
in form, fit and function as a drop-in replacement for the 3M Dynapro ET- 3170,
according to the company. It provides operators with a user friendly, accurate
touch screen for interface with host computers using ANSI-based control code protocols.
Primary specifications include: 8 MB shared memory; serial RS232 110 bps–19.2
kbps, RS422, or 485 connectivity; 5- pin DIN keyboard, optional PS2 via adaptor;
shock resistance of 15 G at 11 ms pulse; temperature range of 32°F–122°F
(0°C- 50°C); power 115/230 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The unit’s enclosure is
fabricated from machined aluminum and is available in an optional rack mount.
